Celler Mas Blanc-Pinord

Come and discover Mas Blanc-Pinord winery. We are on the Falset to Bellmunt road, just outside of the region's capital, Falset and make exclusive organic wines. In 2007, we brought out the first ever registered Biodynamic wine in Spain called Clos del Músic which has full Demeter international recognition.

Mas Blanc is one of the few wineries in the Priorat which is surrounded by its own vineyards. This amphitheatre of vines covers 18 hectares and also part of the winery as the barrel room, with its 300 oak barrels, is 3 metres underground, making it a truly spectacular place.

The wines which are the result of our labours are: +7, Balcons and Clos del Músic. These wines have won prestigious accolades and qualifications by the US wine critic, Robert M. Parker, the Wine Spectator and other important distinctions in trade fairs and European Wine Competitions.

From Monday to Friday from 10am to 2pm and from 4pm to 7pm. Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 2pm.

SPECIAL ACTIVITIES:

1st Saturday of the month: Introduction to Wine tasting + Winery tour (15 €)
Starts at 11am (lasts 2 hours)

3rd Saturday of the month: Winery Tour + Learning Activity in the vineyard (10 €)

Hicimos el tast, bastante bien, el precio es de 15€ que bien lo valen. Te muestran las viñas, los diferentes tipos de viña ue utilizan, to bien, luego es un el priorat un celler pequeño,por lo que el vino tiene un precio elevado. Los recibio una pareja, y con una hicimos el recorrido y con su espodo el tast. Un pequeño problema, su hijo, aunque un niño encantador, estaba casnado y al final se hizo un poco pesado Pero en general muy bien.

Hem fet la visita i el tast de vins i hem quedat encantats. La Rachel ens ha explicat el proces de l' elaboracio del vi mentre visitavem les vinyes i el celler i hem acabat la visita emb el tast. Ho recomano sense cap dubte.

The DOC Priorat or wine appellation The DOQ Priorat covers a small region of fewer than 20,000 hectares, of which only 1,600 hectares are planted with vines. The landscape is abrupt and challenging, or in the words of the Catalan writer, Josep Pla, ‘cataclismatic’. Working the vineyards is a complicated, demanding and costly undertaking, and the vines produce very little compared to those of other wine regions.
