Priorat Centre d’Art
The Priorat Centre d’Art project began its activities in the summer of 2006 with the objective of converting the region of Priorat into an experimental space/laboratory for research, development and dissemination of multidisciplinary proposals of contemporary culture.
Priorat Centre d’Art provides the basis for a process that, with the incorporation and contribution of artists and creators from various disciplines, directly involves the social and cultural characteristics of the region and its inhabitants, and that takes as its conceptual starting point some of the physical and social characteristics of the region: wine, mining, territory, landscapes, people and collectives that compose it.
It also establishes and maintains relationships with a range of public and private spaces in order to spread the activities and make them visible in an itinerant way.
