• Gastronomy Hearty stews served steaming hot, made with rabbit, snails, tasty sauces, wild mushrooms and even local mushrooms from the Montsant mountain range. Pure concentrated stock from this little land of omelettes in their own sauce, salt cod and tunafish. Romesco sauces made using local hazelnuts and olive oil. Soups, broths and stews using ingredients from well-stocked larders. All this accompanied always with great wines, intense and strong.

• The DOC Priorat or wine appellation The DOQ Priorat covers a small region of fewer than 20,000 hectares, of which only 1,600 hectares are planted with vines. The landscape is abrupt and challenging, or in the words of the Catalan writer, Josep Pla, ‘cataclismatic’. Working the vineyards is a complicated, demanding and costly undertaking, and the vines produce very little compared to those of other wine regions.

• Segway through the Vineyards Visit the vineyards of the Priorat by  "Segway". Buil&Giné winery in Gratallops offers you "Segway" rides through their property (a modern kind of electric scooter which moves by inertia).
• Short courses, conferences and wine-tastings Viniteca Mayol in Torroja del Priorat offers you the opportunity to take part in short courses on wine-tasting given by experts, winemakers and winery managers from the region and elsewhere. These courses are planned every three months and are often acompanied by talks and other activities related to the world of wine.
• Short film about the Priorat Viniteca Mayol offers visitors the opportunity to watch short films about the region of the Priorat. Most are shown regularly at the weekend, some were originally shown on Catalan television (TV3) ("Priorat, la força del vi", "DO Montsant" and "DOQ Priorat"), and one is produced by the wine shop itself ( "El Priorat; una comarca de futur" - The Priorat, a region of the Future), which can be viewed in Catalan, Spanish, English and German. 
• Visit the wineries at harvest time

  The wineries of the Wine Route open their doors to visitors during the grape harvest.

• Wine and Food Vacations in Priorat Gourmet vacations including accommodation in a boutique hotel for 6 people. Classes are based on traditional Catalan cuisine.

  Every day during the month of August, 2008, Viniteca Mayol in Torroja del Priorat offers visitors a wine-tasting by the glass of various wineries of the region.
