Priorat County in "Rutas del Mundo" magazine

Journalist and photographer, Thor Jurodovich from the well known Rutas del Mundo magazine, visited the Priorat on Thursday, 5th March. He was accompanied by the Priorat County tourist office and his visit was focussed on discovering the natural environment and outdoor activities of the region. This is one of the sections which will appear in the special edition/supplement which is sponsored by the Costa Daurada Tourist Board due out in April.  The journalist showed great interest in the project to create a network of paths which the Priorat County council is promoting and he was able to follow parts of the Ancient path to Gratallops. In order to link hiking and wine tourism, the programme also included a tasting at Cecilio winery in Gratallops. After lunch, the journalist visited the Natural Park of Montsant and hiked up to the Grau de la Grallera, one of the classic access paths on to the Montsant mountain range.
