País-Aguilar publishers are preparing a new guide-book to Catalonia

The Priorat Tourist Office accompanied a journalist from País-Aguilar last 19th and 20th January, 2009. The new guide-book to Catalonia, will be published in April, 2010.
One of the routes which will appear in the guide for the Tarragona province is that of the Priorat and will not only include tourist sights, but also some accommodation and restaurant reviews.
During the two intense days spent in the Priorat, the journalist was able to visit the main resources of the region, such as the Bellmunt Lead Mining Museum, the Carthusian Monastery of Scala Dei and Siurana as well as enjoy a stroll around the streets of Porrera on the Sundial Route. He also took in the great views from Saint Anthony's hermitage as well as from the Consolació hermitage in Gratallops. He also toured Burgos-Porta and Mas Blanc wineries, tasted olive oil at El Molí de l'Oli in Escaladei and even hiked up to the Grau de la Grallera on the Montsant Mountain Range.
