Every year the EIBTM fair takes place in Barcelona. It is one of the most important trade fairs dedicated to the sector of conventions, conferences, incentive travel and congresses. On Saturday, 6th December, the Costa Daurada Tourist Board accompanied a group of 15 specialist tour operators, who had taken part in the fair, on a visit to the Priorat region as well as other parts of the province of Tarragona.
The Priorat Tourist Office accompanied a group to visit the Carthusian monastery of Scala Dei and Buil&Giné winery where they enjoyed a guided tasting of olive oil and wine from the region. The tour operators were from various countries: Sweden, Germany, UK, Russia, The Netherlands and Luxembourg. All participants were surprised at the beauty of the area and the quality of the wines and olive oils.
