Poboleda Old Fashioned Harvest Festival

The second Saturday of September, Poboleda celebrates a festival based on old fashioned harvesting techniques. Visitors can take part in the harvest early in the morning by accompanying villagers to the vineyards, followed by a popular open-air breakfast in the village. The grapes harvested are then treaded in the old way and the fair continues with wineries offering wine tastings in exchange for their tasting tickets which can be purchased at the fair. There are also other activities taking place throughout the day.

Traditions and Festivals or "Fiestas" There are plenty of very varied festivals in the Priorat. "Fiestas Mayores", processions, cultural meetings.... Many of the "Fiestas Mayores" take place over the Summer months of July and August which include traditional music and dancing and activities for Children.

Villages (1)

Poboleda | PoboledaAl nord oest de la comarca, ubicat al vessant d’un tossal, a la dreta del riu Siurana, s’hi troba Poboleda. Presenta el sector septentrional del seu terme, accidentat pels darrers contraforts del massís de Montsant, i el meridional, pels vessants nord occidentals de la serra del Molló.

S’hi arriba per carretera des de Falset per la T-710 (per Gratallops i La Vilella Baixa) i per la T-702 (per La Vilella Alta), o bé per la T-740 que va a Porrera i continuant per la T-702 fins a Poboleda. Des de Reus per la N-420 fins Les Borges del Camp i després per la C-242 fins a la Venta d’en Pubill i per la T-702; des de Cornudella de Montsant per la C-242 fins la Venta d’en Pubill i per la T-702 fins a aquest municipi.
