Balcó del Priorat del Montsant (Viewpoint of the Balcony of the Priorat)

This is a natural viewpoint, although it is not suitable for people who suffer from vertigo. This site affords a spectacular view over the central area of the Priorat known as the "Historical Priorat". Views also reach as far as the Gritella and Llaberia mountain ranges. The viewpoint is accessed from the village of La Morera de Montsant via the "Grau dels Barrots". This "Grau" or pass on to the central massif poses some technical problems as at one point, visitors must climb a rock-face with iron steps hammered into it.

It is an area of outstanding natural beauty, which enables visitors to reach the central area of the Montsant mountain range and discover this natural park.
