El balcó del Priorat del coll d’en Solans (The Balcony of the Priorat viewed from the Solans Pass)
The village of La Figuera lies at an altitude of 575 m, giving it incredible views over the surround Priorat county. One of the most impressive viewpoints is the one at Coll dels Solans (Solans Pass) which is to be found at 1km from the village. As you approach the village on the El Molar to La Figuera road, you will see a large signpost on the right hand side of the road saying "Coll del Solans". Leave your car here and walk along the dirt track as far as a field of almond trees where you will come to a series of notice boards which explain the mountains and villages to be seen from this point.
