Siurana reservoir

Siurana reservoir, in an area of outstanding natural beauty, is surrounded by the Montsant and Prades mountain ranges. It is fed by the Siurana river which is one of the main affluents of the Ebro river. Closeby, the Gritella mountain range rises up majestically, topped by the hamlet of Siurana which watches over its waters. Siurana is reached by the C-242 road coming out of Cornudella on the right hand side.

Canoa Kayak have been offering outdoor pursuits and activities based around water for many years such as: an introduction to canoeing and kayaking, rental of small boats and other adventure sports such as gorge-scrambling.

One of the most beautiful hikes you can do around here is the one which takes you to the village of Siurana along the old road from Cornudella. The path starts in the village of Cornudella and climbs up to the legendary site of Siurana, last Moorish bastion to fall to the Christian re-conquest in Catalonia.

Cornudella de Montsant | Cornudella is to be found in the North-eastern corner of the county, in the Siurana river valley, between the Montsant and Prades mountain ranges.
Siurana | Localitat situada al nord est de la comarca, a la vall del riu Siurana, entre la Serra del Montsant a l'oest i les muntanyes de Prades a l'est. Podem arribar a Cornudella de Montsant des de Falset per la N-420 fins el Coll de la Teixeta i anar a Porrera per la TP-7401 i d'aquí a la Venta d'En Pubill per la TP-7402, continuant fins a Cornudella per la C-242; des de Reus per la N-420 fins les Borges del Camp i per la C-242, i des de La Granadella per la C-242, passant Ulldemolins.
