Miquel Montagud Museum in Cabacés

Miquel Montagud Municipal Museum is a collection of works taken from the former private museum, known as "The Eco of El Greco". It is made up of reproductions of El Greco's works which were carried out by Miquel Montagud Borja (1897-1984). Miquel Montagud spent a great part of his life working in the world of art and when he retired to live in the village of Cabacés, he continued with his passion. He also used his knowledge and painting skills to impart classes to the local young people of the village.

Opening Times:
Saturdays and Sundays from 12pm to 2pm.

Closed on 25th and 26th December and from 1st to 6th January as well as Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

A D. Miguel Montagud, lo tuve de profesor en Tarragona por los años sesenta y el aprecio era mutuo, lo visité en Cabacés hace ya varios años con mí esposa, pero no me entere de su fallecimiento, espero volver en otra ocasión para recordar viejos tiempos, ahora vivo en Valencia. Saludos.
