In 1997, three friends, a winemaker, a teacher and a priest, founded a small winery on the priest’s property in the emblematic hamlet of Escaladei, cradle of the Priorat.
They make wine from their own vineyards. These wines, recognised internationally, are a true reflection of the history and culture of this wine region.

From Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm. Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am to 1:30pm advance booking required at least 1 day in advance.
During the harvest (Sept./Oct.) advance booking required.

Ara visc a Barcelona, quand vivia a Reus quasi que veniem a ScalaDei dues o tres vegades a l'any perque ens agradava moltissim la cartixa els voltans com Cornudella les Villeas(alta i Baixa, Porera, etc.

The DOC Priorat or wine appellation The DOQ Priorat covers a small region of fewer than 20,000 hectares, of which only 1,600 hectares are planted with vines. The landscape is abrupt and challenging, or in the words of the Catalan writer, Josep Pla, ‘cataclismatic’. Working the vineyards is a complicated, demanding and costly undertaking, and the vines produce very little compared to those of other wine regions.
