Família Ametller
Information
Joan Ametller, S.L. is a winery founded in 2003, situated on the Mas Mustardó estate, near La Morera de Montsant. It is owned by a family with a winemaking tradition going back seven generations.
It has two estates of its own. One, the estate with the winery and the younger vineyards, and the other near Porrera, where the older vineyards planted on hillsides are located. In total they make up 22 hectares of vineyards.
The winery makes a wide range of red wines (largely using grenache grapes), as well as whites and even rosés, something not so common in the DOQ Priorat.
