Genium Celler

In 2002 five families with a long wine growing tradition in the Poboleda area decided to join forces to make a quality wine with grapes exclusively from their own vineyards. The philosophy that guides the way they work their vineyards is to produce grapes for Genium Celler wines only. A large part of their production is declared and listed by the regulatory body CCPAE as organic.

Although it is a small winery, its facilities use stainless steel vats of different capacities to ferment each grape variety from each plot on each estate at just the right point of ripeness. It also has a cooling system to control fermentation and ageing temperatures and a grape selection table.
