El Toll de l'Ou (The "Egg Pond")

The "Toll de l'Ou" is one of the most unusual sites of the Montsant mountain range. It can be found in the Pèlacs dry river gorge and usually has water all the year round.

It is made up of small rock pools which are connected by little waterfalls. It is a very popular site, especially in Springtime at the beginning of the Summer.

This spot can be reached from the village of Ulldemolins via the GR-171 which takes you past the Santa Magdalena hermitage, towards  the "Pi de la Carabasseta". From here a path descends to this spot. This spot can also be reached from La Morera de Montsant following the GR-171.
