Celler la Placeta

We are Quim & Mercè. We started our project in 2014. We produce 6000 bottles of wine in the village of Els Guiamets, DO Montsant. Our organic vines are planted on a gentle landscape with a variety of soils at an altitude of 200 m.

"A white wine cellar in a land of red wines"

We work to restore the white wine that was traditionally produced in Els Guiamets.

Vineyard tour details

El Molí de la Bleda is a BCIL (Bé Cultural d'Interès Local; Cultural Heritage of Local Interest).

It served to grind grain with a professional miller up to the early 20th century. Old documents say the mill was already known in the Middle Ages, but arqueological research of the present structure done in the year 2020 dates it to the 18th century.

During the vineyard visit you can see the remains and get to know how it worked. The space has been protected and some parts have been reconstructed.
