Rabbit paella day and sweet and spicy snail day

At Pentecost Cornudella de Montsant holds a food and wine day when the local group of paella makers prepare two dishes typical of the village: rabbit paella and sweet and spicy snails. There is also a fair to show off wines from the village, a craft market and a display of dishes made by the restaurants of Cornudella.

The group of paella makers of the village prepare two of the typical dishes of the area, and anybody who wants to can join in. There is a big rabbit paella and a pot of sweet and spicy snails.

On the same day, throughout the morning you can taste and purchase all the wines currently made in our village, thanks to the cooperation of our wineries.

Craft Market

The craft tradition of Catalonia, one of the richest in the world, comes to Cornudella de Montsant for the annual Craft Market. The aim is to carry on the tradition of markets in Cornudella (dating back to 1519) and to support all those artisans who continue the old and new trades of our country. Throughout the day, visitors can browse stands spread around the area of the Parc Nou, where they can find craft products of all kinds: cured meat, cheese, pottery, costume jewellery made from a range of materials, painted silk, earthenware, carved wood, cross stitch, textiles and more.
